What better way to organize your monthly events than with a dry erase fridge calendar.
We have had a dry erase calendar on our fridge for awhile, which was purchased from Wal-Mart, but over time it has aged with stains and colours have faded. It was time for an upgrade!!
Instead of buying another calendar with logos and awful colour combinations, I decided to create my own and it was quite simple. I created this calendar using Adobe Illustrator. I’m sure there are other forms of software you could use but Illustrator is always my go to! (I’m an Adobe fan).
Make it your own! I chose to incorporate a full month calendar, a notes section, a to buy grocery list and even added an inspiration quote. Make it quirky! Add cute drawings or icons to your calendar. Coffee is for Mondays and wine is for Fridays (Fri-YAY! Or in many cases wine is for everyday…).
My finished calendar was 24” x 17”, which is a large format print. I printed and laminated my calendar at Staples for less money than it would have cost to buy one from the store again. Win for me! Once you have it printed, glue some magnets to the back (or use magnets to hold it up onto your fridge if you choose not to glue).
Simple, cute, organized and it makes a great gift!
